- Auchentoshan means “corner of the field” in Gaelic.
- Auchentoshan and Hazelburn are the only triple-distilled Scotch whiskies. The other single malts are distilled twice.
- The distillery may be in Glasgow but the brand’s water source is the Cochno Loch in the nearby Kilpatrick Hills.

Just a correction: Auchentoshan is not the only triple-distilled Scotch whisky. The Springbank distillery in Campbeltown release another triple-distilled Scotch called Hazelburn.
