HOW YOU SHOULD DRINK IT:

  • Straight
  • On the rocks
  • With a bit of water
  • With club soda
  • With ginger ale
  • In cocktails (Rob Roy, Whisky Smash, Blood and Sand, Rusty Nail)

FAST FACTS:

  • Up until 2007, the brand didn’t bottle any of its whisky as single malt. It was instead primarily used to produce the blend Teacher’s Highland Cream Scotch Whisky.
  • Ardmore was one of the last distilleries in Scotland to use coal fires to heat its stills. Several years ago, the brand switched over to steam heat.
