Ingredients in the Spanish Raindrop Cocktail

  • 1 oz Don Julio Añejo Tequila
  • 1 oz Oloroso sherry
  • .25 oz Fresh lime juice
  • .5 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
  • 1 slice Orange zest
  • Agave nectar
  • Turbinado sugar

How to make the Spanish Raindrop Cocktail

Add the tequila, sherry, lime juice and simple syrup to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a shot glass. Dip the orange zest in agave nectar and then in turbinado sugar. Flame the zest over the glass to release its oils and rub along the rim.
