Ingredients in the Pumpkin & Spice Cocktail
- 1.5 oz Oatmeal-Infused Karlsson’s Gold Vodka*
- 1 to 2 tsp Pumpkin puree
- .5 oz Oloroso sherry
- .25 oz St. Elizabeth Allspice Dram
- .25 oz Molasses
- 1 dash Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters
- 1.5 oz Ginger beer
How to make the Pumpkin & Spice Cocktail
Add all the ingredients except the ginger beer to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake vigorously for 25 seconds and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Top with the ginger beer and garnish with freshly grated nutmeg.
*Oatmeal-Infused Karlsson’s Gold Vodka
- 2 cups Raw oats (such as Quaker Oatmeal)
- 1 (750-mL) bottle Karlsson’s Gold Vodka
Toast the oats in a large sauté pan over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until aromatic and just beginning to brown, about 10 minutes. Transfer to a large jar and add the vodka. Let stand for 12 to 24 hours. Strain, pressing the oats to remove as much liquid as possible, and rebottle.
