Remember the glamorous days of old Hollywood with this creation of ’40s gossip columnist Hedda Hopper.
Ingredients in the Malice in Hollywood No. 1 Cocktail
- 1.5 oz Jim Beam Black Bourbon
- .5 oz Apricot brandy (Marie Brizard Apry)
Garnish: Lemon twist
Glass: Cocktail or tall shot
How to make the Malice in Hollywood No. 1 Cocktail
Add both the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or tall shot glass. Twist a swatch of thin-cut lemon peel over the top.
This drink was created in the 1940s by Hedda Hopper, Hollywood’s greatest gossip columnist. (It’s a better name than the TMZ, anyway.)
