With strawberries and rhubarb syrup, this gin concoction just screams spring.

Ingredients in the The English Rose Cocktail

1 oz
Dolin Blanc Vermouth
.5 oz
Rhubarb syrup
.5 oz
Fresh lemon juice
Small egg white
3 drops
Bittermens Burlesque Bitters


How to make The English Rose Cocktail

In a shaker, muddle the strawberries.

Add the remaining ingredients and shake without ice.

Fill with ice and shake again for 20 seconds.

Double-strain into a chilled coupe glass.

Other Information

*Rhubarb Syrup INGREDIENTS:

  • .5 lb Rhubarb, roughly chopped
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Sugar

PREPARATION: Add the rhubarb and water to a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the sugar and cook, stirring, until it dissolves. Remove from the heat and let cool. Strain, and store in the refrigerator.
