Ingredients in the Double Eagle Cocktail
- Half a lemon
- 1 sprig Thai basil
- 2 oz Basil Hayden’s Bourbon
- 1 oz Aperol
- .75 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
Garnish: Grapefruit peel and Thai basil leaf
Glass: Martini
How to make the Double Eagle Cocktail
In a shaker, muddle the lemon and basil. Add the remaining ingredients and fill with ice. Shake, and double strain into a Martini glass. Garnish with a grapefruit peel and Thai basil leaf.
