THE SCENE:

No one would blame you for thinking that Mas Sake was a cool club. It has a dark, sleek interior, DJs spinning loud, thumping music and a bevy of attractive bartenders who mix up Sake Bombs. But the trendy establishment, which has been open since 1999, serves a full menu of Japanese food as well, including a long list of signature and specialty sushi rolls and a large number of sakes. (There’s also a selection of popular party dishes like tacos, guacamole and chips and sweet potato fries.) While there’s a long row of cozy booths, there’s also plenty of room for large groups.
