THE SCENE:

Bacar has one of the best wine lists in San Francisco. The modern restaurant, housed in a cavernous old brick-and-timber warehouse with soaring arched windows, even has a three-story glass-fronted wine cellar. But what’s less well known about Bacar is that it also has a great list of delicious specialty cocktails, including the Santiago de Cuba (white and dark rum, Cherry Heering, ginger beer), the Sergeant Pepper (gin, Yellow Chartreuse, rosemary) and The Reckoner (Bulleit Bourbon, sweet vermouth, honey, lemon).
