Cocktail: Rob Roy

INGREDIENTS:

Garnish: Cherry or lemon twist

Glass: Cocktail

PREPARATION:

Add all the ingredients to a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a  cherry or lemon twist.

    Hey Carol-

    Thanks for the question. You’re right a Rob Roy is usually made with Scotch but this nontraditional recipe calls for an American single malt. Try it both ways and let us know which one you prefer.

    I always thought a Rob Roy was made with scotch. Would it be the same recipe as the one with whiskey? I realize this is probably a silly question and I still need to ask. Thanks, cAROL lAWRENCE
