Macuá Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz Flor de Caña 4-Year-Old Rum
  • 1 oz Guava juice
  • 1 oz Orange juice
  • .5 oz Lemon juice
  • .3 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
Garnish: Orange slice and candied cherry Glass: Collins

PREPARATION:

Add all the ingredients to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake well for 20-30 seconds. Strain the mixture into a Collins glass filled with fresh ice. Garnish with an orange slice and candied cherry.

    You could. But what about making a simple syrup using a sugar substitute instead of using the sugar free GoCocktails lemon drop mix? Pre packaged mix doesn’t tend to have the zip and flavor that the fresh fruit use provides. Either way, let us know how it goes.

    that sounds so yummy! But I have to limit my sugar and calorie intake. Can I reduce the orange juice and replace the lemon and simple syrup with a sugar free Go Cocktails lemon drop mix?
