Cocktail: Beefeater French 75

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Beefeater Gin
  • 1 oz Fresh lemon juice
  • .5 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
  • Champagne
Garnish: Maraschino cherry
Glass: Flute

PREPARATION:

Add all the ingredients except the Champagne to a shaker and fill with ice. Shake, and strain into a flute. Top with Champagne and garnish with a Maraschino cherry.

    This is my favorite cocktail when made with RIGHT instead of Beefeater. RIGHT has more citrus and is a little lighter on the juniper, so it works perfectly with the French 75.

    Hey,this looks pretty good!!! Gotta try it. Looks like this drink will “put a little gettiup” in your step!!!Think I will have one right now!! Ah,not bad! Fairly smooth,and taste good.Yeah,this will “light your fire”.Suggest you try this,really not bad.Go for it.From Arizona(Tucson)hope you like it as much as I do.
