INGREDIENTS:

  • 1.5 oz Don Julio Añejo Tequila
  • .5 oz Fig preserves
  • .5 oz Orange juice
  • .5 oz Ginger syrup*
  • 5 leaves of Fresh rosemary

Garnish: Rosemary sprig

Glass: Rocks

PREPARATION:

Add Don Julio Añejo Tequila, orange juice, fig preserves and rosemary leaves to a Boston shaker. Muddle and add ginger syrup. Shake well, serve on the rocks and garnish with rosemary sprig.

*GINGER SYRUP:

INGREDIENTS:

  • .5 Cup water
  • 1 Cup of sugar
  • Ginger root

PREPARATION:

To make ginger syrup, boil .5 cup water in a pan and dissolve 1 cup of sugar in it. Once completely dissolved, remove the pan from heat and allow it to cool completely. Finely chop ginger root and place it in a meshed strainer. Pour simple syrup over the top and muddle the ginger through the strainer creating concentrated ginger-simple syrup.
