Cocktail: Basil Watermelon Cooler

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 oz Grey Goose Vodka
  • 3 Large basil leaves
  • 1 (.25”x2”) Slice peeled ginger
  • 1 (2”) Chunk watermelon
  • .5 oz Simple syrup (one part sugar, one part water)
  • .5 oz Fresh lime juice
  • Ginger ale

Garnish: Watermelon chunk and basil leaf

Glass: Rocks

PREPARATION:

In a shaker, muddle the three basil leaves with the ginger slice, watermelon chunk and simple syrup. Add Grey Goose Vodka, lime juice and ice. Shake well and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a watermelon chunk and basil leaf.
