Patron Tequila Essential Facts

  • Patrón is the biggest selling ultra-premium tequila in the US.
  • John Paul DeJoria’s other huge success is his line of Paul Mitchell hair care products which he co-founded.
  • Each bottle is hand-labeled and inspected–over 60 hands touch every bottle of Patrón before it leaves the distillery.
  • The brand is one of the few tequilas to still use the traditional stone wheel, called a “tahona,” to crush its agave.

Anyone who likes Patron has never had good Tequila. It's the Gallo wine of Tequilas. Like Bacardi rum, lots of advertising , little quality. Try Millagro or Casa Dragones.

The Razzervation: 3/4oz. XO Cafe Patron, 1/2 oz. Amaretto DiSarrono;1/2 oz. Chambord or Razzamataz,
1 1/2 oz half and half. This drink should be shaken and strained into cocktail glass and garnished
with spray of Chambord/Patron XO Café infused whipped cream and chocolate curl.
This is a drink I created at #connecticutschoolofbartending for a graduate and now owner of #DeadEyeDicks restaurant ,Block Island

Alcohol only damages the brains of drunkards or college frat boys who get smashed regular basis. It causes little harm to responsible drinkers.

I was surprised, but I also like Patron XO Cafe'. When I heard about it, my first thought was "what a disgusting thing to do to a fine tequila". A bartender friend gave me a shot, and, WOW!! Delish!!

Lemon and Salt is for Fish'n'Chips!

Patron Tequila is a fine product that also does an amazing amount of work for the environment.
Burdeos is unlike any other Tequila - more similar to a fine Cognac!

    Bravo Patron - Bebidas Perfecto!

I don't like Patron or any other liquor , because it dmages mostly the brain of a person and ruins a persons life. For me it should be made illegal , just like the illegal drugs.

I have been drinking tequila almost exclusively for 10 years. If it is atop of line tequila, I drink it without ice or fruit or vegetables in it. I find the silver the best on the plant with it sweet after taste. I don't understand while people put Patron in margaritas. It ranks like all other fine liquors, " It be sip and enjoyed and not slam down with lemon and salt. This my opinion of this tequila.
