- Ever wonder why there’s a deer on the whisky’s label? The word Glenfiddich is Gaelic for “valley of the deer.”
- If you’re visiting Glenfiddich also stop by its sister brand Balvenie. The two distilleries are right next to each other.
- Catch-up on the brand’s news by reading Glenfiddich’s ambassadors Ian Millar’s and Ludovic Ducrocq’s blog http://blog.glenfiddich.com.

I just came in pocession of an unopened bottle of Special Old Reserve Single Malt Glenfiddich Scotch Whiskey(75cl). I estimate that the scotch is over 20 years old. Is there a market to sell this item? If the answer is yes, would have any idea to it’s value?
Thank you,
Arthur Smith
This is the most interesting read that I read all month..
Mr Arthur, am ready to buy that
00919846711444 the call will cost just 100 cents for a minute
Arthur, the age is on the bottle. No matter how long it’s in the bottle, it’s the same age. The aging happens in the cask, not the bottle.
The best Scotch I ever tasted so far. I first tasted it in 1986. I am with it since then.
The Glenfiddich 12 year old has been my daily drink since 1978. I cannot imagine life without it.
CHEERS
I was gifted a Glenfiddich single malt scotch whiskey, 15 yrs old, I am confused is it whiskey or scotch?
In fact, it’s both! Scotch is one part of the broader whiskey category, which includes all grain-based spirits. Check out our Scotch 101 article for more about the spirit: http://liquor.com/articles/scotch-101/
