Triple distilling Single malt? What a waste. When will people learn more times distilled = less congeners = less FLAVOR!
Must everything become vodka?
I hear you Joey, but having recently had (past tense) a bottle of Auchentoshan, I can tell you that is most assuredly not the case.
I purchased a jar of Three Wood on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh 2 years ago. Very satisfying. I haven’t been able to find a source in my part of the USA. As such, I had to ration myself to make it last about 6 months. It’s like missing an old friend.
21 years old is delicious, with notes of chocolate and vanilla, at least in my case.
BenRiach also have their three times destilled single malt…
And Rosebank you can also bought yet…
